Smiths News Recycle and CMB are proud to introduce the Smart Lite.

From October 2027, the UK Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) will add a 20p deposit onto all plastic drinks
bottles and cans sold, which consumers will get back when they return containers to a Return Point. If you
sell drinks in cans or bottles you may need to become a Return Point and the right solution could boost
your footfall, improve efficiency, and generate additional revenue.

You need a solution that works for you: introducing the Smart Lite!
  • Fast, self-service returns.
  • Keeps queues away from the till.
  • Automatically issues return voucher.
  • Container validation protects profit.
  • Easy to move, install, and manage.

Smart Lite: Small footprint. Big impact.

A compact, high performance Automated Manual Return Point designed with independent retailers in mind.
The Smart Lite gives you the benefits of automation without the cost or complexity of larger machines.
